Building Industry Group PAC

The political voice for the construction industry in Southwest Washington, BIG PAC works to create a business-friendly environment by supporting candidates for office that are advocates for housing affordability and construction, in general, as well as educate the public about construction costs associated with government regulations, fees, and land-use policy.

Government Affairs Committee

Proactive group of members dedicated to improving the regulatory and statutory environment for the success of companies within the building industry, and to ensure housing affordability for Southwest Washington.

Build Better

Build Better provides resources and business development guidance for custom builders, small volume builders, remodelers, tradesmen, and professionals seeking to grow to launch a business in the building industry. Build Better has various tracks for involvement: Education (classes & resources), Public Affairs (w/ADU sub-committee), and Events & Promotion (Remodeled Homes Tour & Fundraising).

Membership Advisory Committee

Committed to protecting and promoting the industry, council members work to recruit new members to the association while engaging existing members.

Casino Night Committee

An event committee creating a fun social event offering gaming and entertainment with all the proceeds benefitting the BFF scholarship fund.

Individuals committed to developing and implementing strategy that supports the growth and promotion of our industry as a career, as well as provide leadership that will lead to a sustainable work force for the future.

Green Tie Gala Committee

Industry leaders passionate about supporting the future workforce by planning and executing our annual Green Tie Gala event, which raises funds to award scholarships and tool grants to individuals pursuing careers in the building industry. The Green Tie Gala is also a proud supporter of CTE construction programs.

Professional Women in Building (PWB)

Professional Women in Building Clark County is a powerhouse of innovation, design, construction, and development. PWB is connecting professionals from every facet and function of the home building industry. This council promotes industry professionalism, recognizes members’ achievements, and mentors developing talent.

We have combined our Remodeled Homes Tour & New Homes Tour into the brand new “Columbia Credit Union Tour of Homes”! New home and remodeling professionals are tasked with helping to plan the tour and the Chef, Hop & Vine kick-off event.
