BIA Announces First Candidate Endorsements Before August Primary

The Building Industry Group, a non-partisan Political Action Committee of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County, has announced early endorsements for three local candidates in the upcoming election:

  • State Representative, 18th District – Brandon Vick
  • State Representative, 17th District – Paul Harris
  • County Councilor, District #2 – Julie Olson

“BIA is proud to stand behind these candidates and offer our membership’s full endorsement,” shares BIA President, Aaron Marvin. “Representatives Brandon Vick and Paul Harris offer steady and reliable support for the building industry in Olympia. Councilor Julie Olson takes the time to understand the issues affecting our industry and has taken a measured approach to County business.”

The Building Industry Group expects more endorsements to follow in the coming weeks, however these three candidates have received early endorsements due to their exemplary service to the building industry during their tenure. This PAC supports pro-business candidates through monetary and in-kind contributions, campaign advisement, and voter education.

All eligible residents are encouraged to register to vote by visiting the Clark County Elections Office website at http://clarkvotes.org and click on “MyVote” on the right. Voter registration forms are also available at the BIA office.
