Build Better was born out of the need to offer education and support for construction related companies. Our Constructed for Success workshops support small volume builders, skilled trades, subcontractors, and remodelers. Seasoned builders and industry professionals will share their knowledge and expertise in a collaborative learning environment.
The Building Futures Foundation (BFF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation that supports careers in the building industry through scholarships, grants, school partnerships, and supporting local CTE Construction programs. Southwest Washington must address the shortage of skilled trade workers to alleviate the housing crisis which will be further exacerbated by the 10-year, dual state bridge replacement project. The Interstate Bridge Project increases the need for skilled trade and construction workers by thousands of job openings. Building Futures Foundation is bringing professional resources, knowledge, mentorship and financial support to address this issue.
Since 2007, we’ve awarded 121 scholarships and tool grants, representing a total investment of $214,250 in construction careers.
