Building Futures Foundation

The Building Futures Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational foundation, which raises money via donations and event contributions, in an effort to award annual scholarships to local students pursuing an education and future career in the building trades.

2019 Scholarship & Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the 2019 scholarship recipients Alex Tetz, Alicia Wallingford, Bo Brabec, Eli Loudenback, Ellie Josephson, James Carmona, Kyle Brabec, Marissa Hunter and Michael Cline.

We are also pleased to announce our inaugural Tool Grant recipients Austin Moburg, Jose Mora, Rio Koford, Ryan Hurley, Tad Catlin and Tanner Greene.

  • SCHOLARSHIPS:  Students living in Clark County who plan to pursue a career in the building industry by attending a college, university, or a trade/technical school can apply for scholarships.
  • GRANTS:  1st and 2nd year electrician apprentices at CITC can apply for tool grants. We welcome the opportunity to help you further your career!

2019 Casino Night

Our 2019 Casino Night  presented by Riverview Community Bank raised a record amount of money for the scholarship/grant fund this year! BIA members and guest helped raise $18,000–100% of these proceeds go towards student scholarships & grants for local apprentices pursuing the skilled trades. PHOTOS
