New Homes Tour features record number of homes
Chef, Hop & Vine kick-off event on May 30 benefits Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program
Vancouver, Wash – (May 15, 2019) – The New Homes Tour presented by Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation hosts the largest number of entries in the history of the event. Attendees have the first two weekends in June (June 1-2 & 8-9) to visit a wide variety of home styles created by 15 different BIA member builders. Homes are priced from the mid $300,000’s to the mid $900,000’s.
To participate in this free event attendees can visit www.TheNewHomesTour.com and print a map. Visitors can choose to start at any home on the tour. The homes are open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm each day of the event.
Touring these homes offers an up-close look at all the current design trends and exciting layouts incorporated into new housing today. One trend stands out among them all for 2019: multigenerational living. Several builders offer well thought out floor plans that allow families the flexibility to comfortably accommodate the many transitions in life.
Participating builders include: Affinity Homes, Cascade West Development, David Weekley Homes, Evergreen Homes, Garrette Custom Homes, Gecho Homes, Generation Homes NW, Ginn Homes, Holt Homes, Kingston Homes, New Tradition Homes, Pacific Lifestyle Homes, Romano Construction Services, Urban NW Homes, and Waverly Homes.
The New Homes Tour is also supported by Macadam Flooring.
On May 30 Chef, Hop & Vine presented by NW Natural kicks off the BIA’s annual New Homes Tour. Attendees experience some of Clark County’s finest food, beer and wine while touring five gorgeous homes. This unique tasting is great for a group outing or a lively date night! Many of the homes also offer entertainment. The homes, food and beverages are open from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Tickets are limited to the first 350 people (21 & older) and must be purchased by May 28. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheNewHomesTour.com.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Women Build, a Habitat for Humanity program. Women Build is an international program with a Clark County chapter that unites women in the building field, and in the community at large, around their goal to build one house per year to lift a family out of the cycle of housing instability or homelessness.
“Chef, Hop & Vine is an event that many people now look forward to. It’s a fun and entertaining way to sample some great food and beverages while viewing beautiful new homes on the market today,” states John Frankel, Sr. Marketing Manager for NW Natural. “We are especially pleased that the Women Build, Habitat for Humanity program in Clark County will be a beneficiary of the funds raised at this year’s Chef, Hop & Vine event.”
