Building Industry Association and GRO host 2023 GRO Parade of Homes groundbreaking
FELIDA, Wash, March 2, 2023 – Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) and GRO breaks ground for the 2023 GRO Parade of Homes in Felida Washington. The groundbreaking event begins the journey to Southwest Washington’s longest running and most well-attended home show.
“The groundbreaking is the official launch to months of development and construction leading up to the Parade of Homes which is slated for September eighth through the twenty-fourth,” stated Danielle Kilian, BIA Director of Events. “While the groundbreaking is the public announcement that the work has begun, in fact there has already been months of work to advance the project this far.”
The BIA has been producing the Parade of Homes for 45 years and partners with various developers, builders, and sponsors to present the annual event to attendees. Throughout the 13-day event the Parade of Homes draws more than 10,000 visitors, vendors, realtors, and industry professionals. The partnership between BIA and GRO spans 3 years which began in 2022 and extends through 2024.
“The Parade of Homes is an exciting time for our industry and the community,” stated Lee, Sales Manager at GRO and BIA board member. “We are excited to be the Title Sponsor again this year.”
GRO, the Vancouver based landscape company is considered among the Pacific Northwest’s top outdoor renovation companies. In 2021, BIA recognized the company and awarded it as BIA Subcontractor of the Year.
The 2023 GRO Parade of Homes will feature projects by Cascade West Development, Kingston Homes, and Marnella Homes along with a special entry, the 2023 St. Jude’s Dream Home. Parade of Homes is a community event but also provides opportunities for industry professionals to network and garner new knowledge of innovations used in building each of the homes.
“For the 2023 GRO Parade of Homes, we will be hosting some of our traditional events including VIP Night, Builder and Realtor Day, Family Day, Hero Day and Design Day,” said Bart Hansen, BIA Executive Officer. “In addition to these events, we are planning some new features that we believe will enhance the experience for the community and the industry. Full details will be rolled out in the coming months.”
