Avaly Scarpelli Installed as Board Member of NAHB’s Executive Officers Council
Avaly Scarpelli, the Executive Director of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County, was recently installed as a 2022 board member of the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Executive Officers Council (EOC).
The EOC is the educational and professional support organization for the executive officers who direct the state and local associations affiliated with NAHB. The Council’s board of directors establishes policy and oversees activities of over 700 local and state home building associations nationwide.
As the executive director of the BIA of Clark County, Scarpelli directs the day-to-day activities of a proactive building industry trade association. “I am honored to have been elected to this position” said Avaly Scarpelli. “The building industry is currently facing many challenges and I look forward to working to ease unnecessary regulations placed on our builders, seek remedies to the lumber and building materials supply chain issues and strengthen our relationships with national industry leaders.”
Scarpelli serves on the Construction Tech Advisory Committee for Cascadia Technical Academy, Vancouver Public Schools Community Leadership Advisory Committee, Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washington board of directors, Responsible Growth Forum board of directors, is a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Council as well as a member of the Construction Safety & Health Committee for the National Association of Home Builders. She is also a recipient of the VBJ’s ‘Accomplished & Under 40’ award and recently received the DJC Oregon’s ‘Women of Vision’ Award.
