Building Industry Group PAC announces 2023 general election endorsements

VANCOUVER, Wash, October 3, 2023– The Building Industry Group (BIG), a non-partisan political action committee (PAC) associated with Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County, announces endorsements for the upcoming general election on November 7, 2023.

“In each general election cycle, the BIG PAC engages in discussions with Clark County candidates to establish strong connections and identify those whose positions align most closely with the building industry’s priorities and our community’s housing affordability concerns,” explained Eric Golemo, BIG PAC Vice Chair. “These interactions go beyond interviews; they represent an open exchange of insights and foster a deeper understanding of one another’s work and objectives.”

BIG PAC has deemed the candidates listed below as knowledgeable regarding construction and building industry issues in broader terms. More specifically, endorsements were given to candidates who have demonstrated or expressed a desire for better policy choices to address housing affordability and attainability at the state and local levels.
