City of Battle Ground issues guidance on allowed construction activity

According to Chris Drone, Fire Marshal/Building Official:

Final inspections are only offered to those homes that are AT THIS TIME finished where all work is CURRENTLY complete. I would expect all of these would be requested by the end of this week. This DOES NOT give contractors permission to perform finish or similar work inside or outside the home other than what it takes to get the partially erected structure “dried in.” Any work that is done under the current Governor’s order is limited to that which directly prevents spoliation.

If this policy is being abused, we have been advised to contact local police for enforcement.  Please be considerate, pay attention to the order, as your decisions may impact the ability of your peers to continue essential work.

As of April 9: Battle Ground issues affidavit for construction related to Pre-Existing Home Sales.
